And the reason I’m a photographer is because of YOU. You inspire me to tell stories that encapsulate the passion, the individuality, the love that makes your relationship unlike any other through photographic art. Your love story is just as unique as you are which is why each elopement or intimate wedding that I photograph is never the same. Your wedding should be like your fingerprint — completely your own and different from everyone else.

My goal is to help you navigate your elopement with ease.

When you throw out the big wedding rulebook there are suddenly so many more options and it can be overwhelming and confusing at times to know where to start and which steps to take. This is why I consider myself your guide to a personalized elopement experience from start to finish. Besides being a photographer (and being good at what I do), I incorporate my other areas of expertise to provide a completely customized package for you.

My goal is to make your elopement journey as smooth as possible. For years I coordinated logistics for a large convention, so no matter how simple or complex of a day you are planning, I’ve got you covered. In addition, my experience as a nurse helps to ensure your safety during all your wedding day adventures.

You are entitled to have a wedding day that truly reflects you in the most authentic way possible. Whether you say your vows beside a peaceful lake in Idaho with the sunrise gleaming on the water or with the towering backdrop of the Patagonia mountains behind you, your day should be one you look back on in 50 years and say to each other, “that was so us.” And if you’re dreaming of eloping somewhere internationally but haven’t done much traveling, don’t let that stop you! My first international trip was at 3 months old. I like to think I got bit by the travel bug from birth because since then I’ve never stopped exploring.

Photography is more than just a job.

Empowering you to take the leap and plan your dream elopement is one of the things that motivates me to do what I do. But beyond that, I believe in a God who is the author of love and who created the beautiful nature that surrounds us. And that inspires me to help couples seal their love in places that inspire them and make them feel themselves.
My goal is to enable you to concentrate on the things that really matter when it comes to your wedding day and create a safe environment filled with support and understanding where you can feel confident about carving your own path and stepping outside of social norms to have a wedding where you are both free to be yourselves.

Social pressure is strong, I know. Everyone thinks that getting engaged automatically means that you start down the list of all the normal wedding to-dos—invite 150+ people, feel obligated to choose bridesmaids and groomsmen, spend hours trying to get seating charts right with your planner ad make sure you have the right DJ for a good party.

This doesn’t have to be you.

You don’t have to cave to people’s pressures and expectations.

My husband and I wanted to capture our private elopement out in Leavenworth, WA on Lake Wenatchee and we are so glad Glesni was available to help us out!
